I have a 1992 40hp mercury outboard and I can not get it to spark. I have replaced the spark plugs and even put a light up spark plug tester on it and it failed to light up. My boat serial number is 0d106222. Everything I read says it is either a stator or kill switch but I am not exactly sure...
