Great forum, just stumbled across it as I'm attempting to research outboards. I'm seriously considering buying a new '08 15 horse Mercury 4 stroke short shaft. I have a 14' aluminum V-Hull. It's an older Meyer's and I would consider it much heavier than today's aluminum fishing boats...
