    salt water effect on aluminum boat

    If i use my tracker 16 riveted boat in salt water what precautions can i take to prevent corrosion.Also what precautions should i take with my mercury 40 hp motor.I have taken an interest in fishing intercostal waterways but do not want to ruin my boat.
