    Alarm sound on Mercury 40hp EFI 4-stroke -02 at high (idle) speed?

    When I run my Mercury 40hp EFI 4-stroke -02 at high speed, either at sea or at high idle speed, I get this alarm sound. I have a new impeller and a good tell-tale with cold water. Do you have any idea what this alarm sound (https://youtu.be/kKA4KW79c04) could mean?

    Replace fitting on the bottom of the fuel cooler, Mercury 40 hp EFI 2002.

    I need to replace #34 in this diagram, the 45 degree elbow fitting: 1771.png What would you remove to be able to replace the fitting, I guess removing the lower cowl is a good idea, but how do I do that?

    Bypass water from fuel cooler?
