    hello all i have a 19ft 1986 larson with the 4.3liter mercruiser i need to replace the water pump in the stern drive but not sure how to tell if i have alpha gen 1 or 2 . the model number on engine is not readable for the sterndrive but the engine model number is any help would be great.also...

    need help with prop choice

    hello i have a 17 ft caravelle with a merc 165 inboard mostly used to pull tubes . i live in colorado and use the boat at an elavation of about 9000 ft above sea level . what would the ideal prop be for my situation and also what should i set points and spark plug gapp at for this elavation...
