    start with cleaning your battery cable connections. then the block end of the battery cables, and work your way up to the helm. you most likely have bad connections, and probably at the ground block under the helm.

    not a stock carb for an AQ271C. (Should be a holley 715CFM 4150 series and the motor should be red) however I would look at the choke

    unless your block was modified by welding the lower drain ports closed, you have the drain ports use them if you try a block-buster 2000 kit or a scam-co kit, count on a broken block in the spring as Lou mentions no way around draining unless you park your boat in a 10,000 gallon swimming...

    no, you drop the pan fully and if the builder did his job, he used a rubber gasket which you can pull the pan many many many times prior to replacing.

    yes raw water and carb was 140 ish unless hx cooled, then 160 ish EFI and raw water is 160 ish EFI and hx cooled is 180 ish cant explain why the 4.5 would have a 140 T-stat the emissions must be on the raged edge.
