    carburetor trouble evinrude 3 hp yachtwin

    fuel leaking from carburetor due to air silencer missing.Am i able to replace this part or even the entire carburetor? What impact if any does this have, my outboard does not want to start. She is an evinrude 3hp yachtwin I believe from 1964. <br />All replys greatly appreciated.

    can I still get parts for evinrude 3hp yachtwin 1964

    I have recently bought an evinrude yactwin 3 hp. It came with a 1964 service manual, sop I think it is from that year. When I put fresh fuel mix into the tank and tried to start it fuel came leaking out from the carburetor. On closer inspection i have noticed that the Air silencer is missing...
