    Ayuh,...... When I need risers/ elbows, I look for the right bolt pattern, at the manifold,...... The diameter of the exhaust dump,...... 'n the angle of the aft downward drop,...... I've always made the match-ups usin' those 3 factors,.....

    Ayuh,..... Have you placed the gasket on the block,..?? Does the fire-ring sit on the block, just outside the bore,..?? Generally speakin', the stock gasket oughta work with a .030 over-bore,.....

    Ayuh,...... Welcome Aboard,..... I'm with these guys, ^^^.... The only y-pipe I've ever seen from Merc with the shutters down low is back in the '70s, there was a 3 piece y-pipe with low mount shutters,..... My guess is, yer's burnt up, 'n fell down the pipe,.....

    Ayuh,.... Epoxy ain't uv stabilized, so makes a poor top coat,...... 'n it's my guess the 4 gallons ya bought would make fine laminating resin, where looks don't matter,.....
