    Any hydraulic cylinder should never be able to be moved by hand. Being able to do so means the cylinders internal seals are shot, or the pump valving is shot

    Welcome It's 3 months old why not contact the dealer? The horn and radio in most cases has power full time so long as the Battery switch is on. Check for a fuse near the Battery or follow the horn button back to where it's being fed

    It shouldn't, might sound different but a healthy motor will not die if mix gets a bit richer

    Yes, but it's water but mostly oil. Even if there is a slight bit of rust that would be removed during machining process. If it is a rod knock then the ones with spun bearings need reconditioned or replaced. As Bondo mentioned, remove the drive and run motor to make sure its the motor

    does appear the center button should push in then move handle forward, and that's not working? Try grabbing handle and pull toward you in neutral

    If it's banging like a hammer then most likely it spun a rod bearing What does this mean? reseated all Could do a compression test to find out if it might be a valve issue

    For clarification VP GL motor that a Merc carb was installed? Don't see an issue with it so long as it fits Did it run fine last season? No need to tune in water until it's running fine on a hose The popping as it warms up motor might need timing checked, cross tracking inside the distributor...

    Look at your switch and see the amount of contacts 3, 4 or 5 and if its screws of wires that come out of the switch The search "mercruiser key switch" and find one that is the same as yours

    No, I said it does not have a slave like, I said The older ones looked like this You have 3 relays on top, pic post 18 One of the 3 relays on top "IS" the slave relay The other 2 are main power and fuel pump
