    You need a bucket big enough to submerg the entire drive to prime the pump. These pumps do not self prime. So you toasted your impeller. Always run on muffs when running on land Not running right in the water could be anything. Did you service the ignition? What is the compression numbers?

    the rubber grommet is dried out, so its not pliable. however work the grommet thru the hole in the hull and you can then get the hoses out the slits
