    Theoretically all of your electronics are turned off they should be off and drawing no current. If you have an amp meter connect it in series with each accessories and see if any are drawing current when turned off. If you don't have a meter do what alldodge suggested, looking for a spark then...

    I'm in So Cal that's why I suggested you forget about calling the DMV. I just took a closer look at the boat. Are the seats, transom, tires and trailer in as bad shape as they look? Is the trailer painted brown or is it rusted? The seats are shot, how does the inside look?

    What accessories do you have such as a radio or other 12 v electronics? Do you have a battery switch installed? Next time someone says " it was likely time to replace the battery" don't believe them without testing the battery first, that was an absolute uneducated default guess.

    Radio turning off at certain volume

    Exactly what KD4UPL said. There may be a bad connection, either the ground or pos side. When you turn the volume up the radio draws more current. If there's a bad connection the voltage drops causing the radio to shut down.

    Bilge pump

    Do you see a water discharge somewhere on the hull above the waterline most likely near the stern? Is there a fuse panel? If so if not marked are there any fuses not accounted for, same with switches. Last resort is to start filling the bilge with water and see what happens, do this on land.

    Congrats on finding and fixing the problem. That stream looks like an 18 year old. Next time lube the shaft and pump housing and impellor with dish soap and a little water. Yes the water is suppose to shoot from the hole in front.
