    Installed new impeller and pump assembly and had great flow from back of boat...took boat out and it ran great...I did random heat checks with my ir gun. All was good....ran boat on muffs and I had more flow on port side and very little out the other. My manifold heat was climbing so I shut it...

    It is a complete petronix distributer and coil...ok I will remove that wire and replace it

    Right....if it's unhooked it won't start. I didn't try taking it off yesterday while it was running

    I took I terminal off and it wouldn't do anything so I put it back on. There is a resistor wire that goes to coil and choke. Boat ran good. The volts are still not steady at the coil however and it seems to have a bit of a miss. I'm taking alt back again.

    It's the dam exciter wire from alternator that I just had repaired...he put new regulator and fixed that wire...I took it off...all work great

    Sorry I realize I sent 2 different ones. It has always been one wire to the starter. That second one is not hooked up to anything i hooked it to soliniod when I was trying to figure out the double shut off. I will send pictures right away as to how it is

    I don't have points I have a pertronix igniter 2 marine 302 distributor and the 0.6 ohm coil that is for this system
