I got the lower unit to drop finally and was able to get a socket on the bolt on the brass coupling. I also saw that the brass coupling had 2 bolts on it and I couldn't get it to drop until I loosened the top one as well which was tough to do because there wasn't very much...
Just picked up a 9.5 Johnson from a friend for free. He said it ran perfectly fine last year and stopped running mid-season. I haven't got a chance to look at it yet so not sure of the year and model # just yet, but I will post as soon as I find out. I will be getting the motor tomorrow and...
