I have an 1984 Hallett Elite with VP AQ175 /280. I have the cylinders apart and need to find the correct parts to rebuild

First post so cut me a little slack.
I have a 1984 Hallett Elite (less then 10 made) with AQ175/280 Volvo Penta.
I replaced the shift cable and I can't get the controller to give me and engine speed in reverse, it will go into gear (very hard) but no engin speed.
