I have been having repeat high idle problems on my 2000 Johnson 150hp Oceanpro. 18ft Four Winns open bow. 14.5X19 prop.
Seams to idle too fast and maybe slightly rough when in the water and warmed up. 1100rpm in neutral, and 950 to 1050rpm...
I have a 2000 150hp ocean pro. idles at 1200rpm on muffs.
This is way faster than it ever did before.
all carb butterflies closed tight.
perform link and sync.
checked timing OK
plugs good
rebuild on all 6 carbs
new throttle body o-rings (small nick and smashed spot on one of them)
