got a bad piston lil bit of scaring on wall that you can feel.ive talked to a few different marinas some say do all of the cylinders some say do just the one. the others look good and are tight.what would ya do?
i posted yesterday and did a compression check on the motor today i had 3 at around 110, 1 at around 65-70.sounds like a rebuild is there anything else i can do or check before i go pay the big bucks for this?
i have an 88 spl that runs great on top end but to start it you have to crank up idle speed i just dipped the carbs and cleaned them took it and tried it still the same thing just has a rough idle like its trying to die and then finally does after a few seconds at most any help would be appreciated
