I am going to look at an alhpa one out drive for my 3.7 merc. The guy said it has a pit in the lower end closer to the front. My question is will it blow out? does the out drive build up good amout of psi. I am getting it for very little money and hope to use for the rest of the season
The drive gears in the out drive are gone. I think it was run with not enough oil. I need to replace them. Is it a job one can do? I have opened the top of the out drive to see them and have looked at different manauls saying fairly easy to remove the 2 gears and install new and other manaul...
I just got a 1901 starcraft with a 3.7 mercruser. I was told it runs good but not started this season. It cranks great but I get no spark. I did minor test check spark at plugs and from coil but none. checked firing order. I replace the coil and the condensor. The points look in very good shape...
