I have just bought a 1976 23 ft crestliner and i am new to inboard/outboards it runs and starts just fine. But at full throtel it will only reach 3500 rpms with only me in it and only 2900 rpms with more than 2-3 people on it. It will not plane with more than 2 poeple on it is this normal or do...
I have a 4 hp that runs fine but when you are moving along it seams to lose power and wants to die. Do i have a carb problem or what I need to get this fixed *** it is my back up motor so if my main motor fails Im stuck paddeling i appreciate any help:)
i have a 1972 johnson 25 hp outboard. It starts and runs great. but some times when you are going full speed and every thing seems fine. It will all of a sudden just jump out of gear. i have put two differnt lower units on this motor and still same problem but it dosent happen all the time some...
