I have a 2001 Johnson 150 Ocean Pro that I just replaced the water pump impeller on and I have a question. The drive shaft had some grooves on it from the top of the water pump housing. They did not seem to bad. Should I be concerned about the grooves in the shaft?

I just installed a clear inline fuel filter on my boat. It would not fit under the outboard motor hood so it is located outside the motor housing. When I installed it and ran the motor yesterday the fuel was nice and clear looking. Today the fuel looks yellow and a little varnished. It appears...
