Help! my last inquiry was re suitable compression on 1974 2 h.p evinrude..did a test and it is 100 lbs. I have spark but not sure strength. Will not fire even when fuel is put into cylinder??? I am going to check spark strength (not quite sure how to do this).Please advise. If not good I...
:redface: 74 johnson 2 h.p. has spark but will not fire with fuel. What cylinder pressure range is satisfactory? If pressure is low is there a likelihood that crank seals need to be replaced as well as new rings providing piston seems o.k.?
