I've got a 1999 Honda bf50a outboard with the lower unit retaining nut corrosion problem. I'm thinking of JB weld it shut with a new nut since the threads are gone. Not sure if it's safe or how long it'll last. I might have to bite the bullet and get a new lower unit but don't want to waste my...
