Unfortunately inherited this boat, unsure of past history. While spinning the flywheel and looking at the LU it does spin at the same rate. Will remove it to see if there’s any change in speed. Thanks!

New to the group. Tried to fire up an 82 Merc 90HP. Replaced the battery before starting it up. I noticed the starter had a hard time turning the Flywheel. I attempted to spin the flywheel myself and it does take a bit of effort to spin although it does spin. Using the pull rope also...
