Really just starting to get into personal boating. Most of what experience I have has been on 60'+ boats.

Ive got an opportunity to buy a 1986 Larson 215 Delta Conic 21' cuddy cabin with 3.7 mercruiser. Also comes with 1999 trailer. Everything hull wise looks fine but he said the motor developed a knock about 2 weeks ago, but it does still run. He is willing to part with it for $1200. Any thoughts?
Can anyone familiar with these boats please give me some information about it and tell me what you think about this?
