Hey, so i had to replace a burnt out starter on my 68' Johnson. The old starter spun Clockwise as crazy as that sounds. I tried it with just jumper cables with it off the engine and it spins clockwise. when I put a new starter in, it spins counter clockwise and does not engage the Bendix gear...
