1997 30hp Merc. At first it was intermittent where the voltmeter would bury over 16 volts rather than the usual 13 or so volts. When I drove it to the haul out ramp it stayed burried. ( did check at battery with volt meter and it was 16 or so volts). Checked under the cowling and the voltage...
