when I put my 1994 150 HP Johnson fast strike in reverse it makes a clicking noise and looks like the motor want to rise back up...I have no problems forward. I have checkewd the back and nothing seems loose

My boat has 2 fuel tanks and the switch is a turn dial that pull a cable back and fourth to move a lever that switches between the tanks..Right now I have to change them by hand..I'm sure the cable is broke somewhere between the switch and the lever just wondering of there are any tricks on how...
