i have a 89 chap villain 3 with a mercruiser 454mag that has blown up. i am replacing with another 454 that i have. all is done smoothly except the merc engine had 2 oil sending units and the new eng only has a place for one! what should i do with the extra wire!!! :confused:
I have a 1989 Chaparral Villian III with mercruiser 7.4l i recently blew the engine. (3 pistons gone) i have another 454 engine from another boat that has been balanced and blueprinted. the new engine has a flexplate and the blown engine has a flywheel. is it permissable to bolt the coupler...
