    1978 Chieftain

No Title I filled the grooves in with epoxy on the pump shaft as advised, and got the water pump kit installed. The transom got epoxied, and spar, and installed!! I read somewhere that 2- 3/4" ply laminated would be just a shade too thick to install without a little grief. This is true for my...

I bought an older boat. After putting a transom in it, a new dash, gauges etc, along with some painting and some of my friends and families blood sweat and tears I would like to make the boat mine by renaming the boat. I have heard that's taboo... Any thoughts? I realize she has had her name a...

Re: 1978 Chieftain What am I missing from these two pictures? It looks like the top gunnel was cut on an angle? No dissrespect for Stevens, he is doing all the work. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and finally get my hands into it! Instead of over thinking and researching. Dunno
