    I don't know about dealer sending someone but will check. As far as the history I didn't know that the tack even has a way of displaying codes and I will give you all I know of the history. I'm trying but I know automotive well but not marine.

Have checked power at the fuel pump, both coils, 12v and 5v at CMP, power in and out of ECM relay, starter circuit is operating as it should. Check operation of CMP and it appears to be erratic...

    From what I've read the gray wire has power supplied to various components on the motor. I'm not sure what the white wire is used for and where it goes.

    I eliminated the fuel by placing an electric pump straight to the manifold. I place a spark plug in and grounded it but couldn't see any spark. Don't have a manual (I know it is stupid).     91 Nissan 40HP no WOT

    I have a 40HP that has no WOT. Idles good. Pull choke out almost all the way to get it to run above idle. Motor in the Abacos now. If no suggestions is there a Nissan dealer around Marsh Harbor. Any advise appreciated. Have good mechanical know how but not on outboards.
