    The shop has the boat now all winterized and shrink-wrapped. It runs fine when first started so they were able to do the oil, lower unit and antifreeze. This saga will apparently continue in spring. Thanks, all--

    And this test would be a fused 12v direct battery connect to the module with a ground lead as well, correct? Is there a meter test?

    If I have to pull the pump to test it, I will probably just replace it as it's buried behind the water separator and under the alternator. One of my frustrations is that you have to unplug things to test them and then they're not in a normal state. Is there a way to test it without pulling it...

    So we were just starting to get the diagnostics narrowed down when a new problem popped up. We are blowing the the 20amp ignition fuse (red wire). Then the diode smoke itself.     Thanks for the feedback guys, I appreciate it. I'd love to replace the Yukon XL with a standard Yukon or Tahoe but they are 55k used so that ain't happening. The Durango V8 ain't cheap either. Hadn't considered a 4Runner.. hmmm.

    Sounds like a similar situation. Honestly most years it will be used for spring launch and fall retrieve at a landing down the street. Once a year or so it's a 10 mile trip to the shop. So really short distance. The trailer has surge brakes.

    From my other post, it sounds like the Arcadia/Traverse V6 platform may be on the edge for my Glastron GT205 V8 with single axle trailer. How about the Telluride? It has a higher rating and seems beefier. Anyone tow with one of those?
