I have a 1974 85hp johnson. When you try and start engine, it will fire up for a short amount of time ( 5 to 10 seconds) and stall. It will restart again and function the same way. I have tried to check according to my manual, fuel good, spark jumps 1/2 gap, compression good. with spark tested...
