    Hi just bought a boat with a 1969 40 hp eninrude on it need to get a old 9.9 anyone know what the old eveinrude is worth it runs great wonder if i could trade the rude for a 9.9? just a thought......lol

    Hello I am new here and new to boating I bought a 1978 tidecraft with a 1969 evinrude 40 hp first of all i got it from ebay....don't laugh...lol 560.00 for boat, motor and a nice trailer what ya think a good deal or not? and whats the best way to see if it is charging? seems to run fine...
