    83 ranger 330V, 1970 1150, jackplate??

    okay heres the prob, I've got an 1150 on an 83 ranger 330V and when I turn to the left it quits peeing...I know the engine needs to be about 1" lower...plate not quite level with bottom of boat...I don't like seeing the pee stream do that...this only on plane in a turn but I still don't like...

    1970 1150 rectifier or "radio shack full wave"??

    I've seen posts on this and don't know which way to go...I've heard of great luck with the radio shack full wave replacing the rectifirer and is cheaper and holds a constant voltage to the battery better...what do you guys think?? pros and cons?? Will replace before putting on my new stator...
