    I have a 200XL EFI Mariner that the oil alarm sounds at idle all the time. When the rpms are increased a bit it goes away,the engine runs good.Mechanic said it could be the plastic gear on the camshaft that runs the oil pump could be warn?They have also cleaned the fuel distribuation box out...

    oil alarm

    I have a 1996 200XL EFI Mariner,at idle only the oil alarm is sounding. When the rps are increased to about 900 it goes off.The engine runs great...any ideas?
