    I've had my serpentine belt fail on my last trip out and with no dealers within 500 mile I've tried a couple of auto part shops. It seams that they can't cross reference my belt number 57-865-615-003, does anyone out there have a good link I can use?:confused:

    additional fuel tank

    I'm looking for some advice on installing an additional fuel tank on a 2005 Bayliner 242, I noticed that there is quite a bit of room on the port side of the engine compartment. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Fuel injection?

    I'm doing some planning for the installation of an auxillary fuel tank on my 2005 Bayliner 242 with a 5.7L mercruiser and can't find any of my paperwork showing if it has electronic fuel injection or not. The boat is over 4 hours away in storage so just climbing in and looking isn't an option...

    North to Ketchikan

    Is there anyone out there who's made the run from Prince Rupert to Ketchikan and can give me some pointers as to trouble areas and nice anchor spots, I've found a couple on the charts but being fairly new to this I'm finding that what I think is good doesn't always come true.

    Fly fishing Salmon

    Can any of the flyfishers out there recommend a couple of flies for Coho and Pinks? When I look in the fly books there's so many I don't know where to start, I fish northern B.C. just south of the Alaska border and have caught lots on downriggers and want to try flies now

    which prop, 4 blade or 3 blade

    I currently own a Bayliner with a 5.7L mercruiser engine and a Bravo ll leg, I'm looking at changing the prop from the stock one to a stainless. I've found 2 props that appear to fit my needs, 1 is a 3 blade the other is a 4 blade, before I purchase one how can I tell which would be better...

    auxillary boat

    We're looking for some ideas on what type of auxillary boat we could carry on our 24' Bayliner so we can run into shore etc. We would need to store the boat on top of the cabin so it needs to be only around 6' in size and the shoreline where we boat is usually rocky or sharp barnicles.     abraision free line

    I'm looking for a line that will stand up to the arrow tooth flounders that frequent where I fish, the line I presently use is the 100lb Tuf-line but the flounders cut this in no time causing lot's of lost tackle. Any ideas out there? thanks

    anchoring

    Hi, I'm new at the baoting scene and if anyone can give me some clairification it would be a big help. When anchoring I've noticed a lot of boats pull up and drop the anchor straight down then back up about 20 -30 feet, (40' of water) the rope/chain then looks like it's at almost straight up...
