    If i push the control lever forward the cable end at the drive becomes shorter (pulls in, not what it says in the volvo manual)), however the drive engages gear and the Front propeller turns clockwise and back anti, which way will my boat go, forward or back? my head is ablaze trying to work...

    So every thing is removed disconnected etc and ready to remove the transom plate, I have undone the 6x 19mm nuts with the little clamping plates behind them and left the nuts on the ends of the threads, i tried a few taps with the persuader, nothing? it seems to be stuck...
