the pull cord in my mercury 9.8 hp motor(older) will not stay in.. it doesnt brake, the pin slides out and will never stay in.. How do i fix this problem?
when i start to get up and go with my motor, it runs fine until i get up high in RPMs and then it just revs high but doesnt go nowhere so i have to let off the gas until the boat pushes forward again.. What could this be?
my shifter works fine to put it in and out of gear but when i take off it slips back into neutral..i have to hold it in gear the whole time im driving. How can I fix this problem? Please, I have no clue how.
