Are the front set of roller wheels on an ez loader trailer supposed to be snug against the bottom of the boat or is there supposed to be some play in the wheels they make alot of noise going down the road.

I have a 1985 ebko boat & 1985 shorelander ez loader trailer the front roller wheels can not be adjusted sideways on the trailer where they would support the boat it seems to me the only way I see to do is shim the rollers up from the frame to meet the hull of the boat does that seem right or...
