    Hello all:) I have a 89 omc drive powered by a 2.3 ford. My ? is, are the forward and reverse swapable? I fixed my cable and shifting problems But I still have a clunk in the drive some times. I think I've narrowed it down to the dog clutch and mabe the forward gaer does not do it in reverse, so...

    Update: thanks to all you my boat shifts like a brandnew one:) thank you so much. How ever I have another ? for all of you. When I exselerate some times I here a cluck come from the outdrive, any ideas? And again thanks for the help with the shifting problem.
