    What are my options?

    I ran into a problem while removing my old junky Transom assembly mount and Gimbal. The junky units have Trim senders. The unit I have to replace them( a Transom assembly came with the motor I purchased) do not have Trim senders. What are my option?

    Rebuild advice

    I'm getting a pair of Mercruiser 188HP ( Ford 302's) Rebuilt. They are currently 2 barrel carbs with points and condenser. I'm up grading to electronic ignition, 4 barrel Carbs & manifold. My question. Can I use the standard fuel pump or do I need to upgrade to something different. Thanks

    Had water in cylinders.. just want to be sure!

    Correct me If Im wrong, I just want to be sure. When you get water in cylinders the cause can be 1.bad/cracked intake. 2.bad exhaust/risers 3. water comming back into the exhaust. To CMA Im planning to replace the intake and exhaust manifolds elbows and risers. Long story.. Thanks

    What can the problem Be?

    I am putting a motor back together that just had the cylinders honed.(flash rust from a bad intake manifold) Everything was going great until I torque the conntecting rod nut to Jug 3 and or 4. When either of these pistons are torqued to to anything over 20ftlbs the crankshaft wont move. The...

    Installing motors,What is the biggest mistake people do?

    I am getting ready to install three motors into two different boats. (when it get warmer)Whats is the most common overlooked mistake people do that bites them in the butt later on? thanks.:D
