Will my alpha one mate with a 4.3 without the lower unit falling apart? I found a really good deal on a crate motor, I doubt it will fit in my engine compartment but i have a chain saw and a need for speed.
"I read somewhere (ithink it was here) that there is a four barrel verison of my 165hp inline 4 mercruiser, i heard it is a dierct bolt on replacement and gives u 15 hp. Is this true it sounds like alot? Also if it is true what am i looking 4 and where can i find it. thanks
I have a mercruiser in line 4, 165 hp, 3.7 liter engine. I think it has the mercruiser MR outdrive ( the one with the eye loop on the top of the upper gear housing) I was wondering if the alpha one can be bolted on instead as i have found a great deal on a brand new one and i have had nothing...
