Hi. Does anyone know the difference that makes a Yamaha 6 into an 8. The cubic capacity, compression ratio seem to be the same. Is it possibly the carburettor thats different. The carb is damaged on my 6 and has to be replaced. If it is simply a matter of changing for an 8hp carb I might as well...
