I've searched and can't seem to find where you guys are decoding the Sea King/Wards outboard model/serial numbers. Year/HP.
Here's what I have:
Sea King / Wards / Gale
Model #: GG1881A
Serial #: 36X872336
I think it is a 1963.
Also, this supposedly can convert from long to short shaft...
