    87 glasstream 18' 130 hp, alpha 1. the owners manual says to put drive into foward gear to remove the drive itself....? if i put the thing in drive wont i flood out my carb? please help guys. i have one throttle that controls the gas and gears, im lost.

    to cut a tranducer cable?

    the only way to get my fishfinder hooked up is to cut my tranducer cable to get thru the transom. can i do this or is there fiber-optics or something? thank you.

    bare wires showing in alpha 1

    after leaving the lake i got home and did a quick inspection of the outdrive and found bare wires and a few broken strands of wire as well. these wires run paralell w/ the water hose that is tuck up in the drive. i assume these wires control trim, am i right? how shall i replace these? 87 18'...
