    Johnson power tilt/trim failure

    Here goes. I dont' have details about this motor (not mine), but it is a Johnson in the 25 HP range, prob mid 80's. The boat was tied at the dock with the motor up. The next morning, it is down. it will not tilt back up (can hear the tilt running, sounds like it should but nothing happens)...

    Honda BF90A propeller shaft

    I have a bent propeller shaft. What is involved in replacing it ie( special tools and other parts that have to be replaced). I just got this boat and have a repair manual on the way, but I am trying to get a jump on this issue. Also, what are the risk of running with the bent shaft?
