    boat railing

    Does anyone have a suggestion for securing new railing on the bow of the boat? The old 90s had a nut on them but there is no access to be able to get the nuts in. I tried toggle bolts but they are not holding well. Any help would be appreciated.

    Engine coupler

    Can anyone tell me how I will know if the coupler thats on the engine side of the drive shaft is bad? I hear grinding on startup but then it quits. The shaft is turning. Could it be bearings or lubrication?

    I shift into gear and it cuts off

    Can anyone help? I have a 1979 Galaxy w/ a 120 Mercruiser. Just bought it used and can't figure out the problem. Prop moves fine when the engine is off but in gear, but when I start the engine and engage the throttle the engine immediately cuts off. Great boat but I'm not familiar with outdrives...
