    Motorguide 2600 pro replacement

    My prop on my 30 year old motorguide 2600 broke this morning. I have a spare in the boat but no clue how to change it out. There is a single bolt holding the blade on but the shaft turns freely. How do I hold the shaft still to remove the bolt holding the blade on? Thanks.

    My prop broke this morning on my 30 year old Motorguide 2600. I have a spare in the boat but no clue how to change it out. There is a single nut attached to the shaft holding the prop on but the shaft turns freely. How do I hold the shaft still to remove the nut holding the prop on? Thanks.

    Circuit breaker for trolling motor?

    I just purchased a transom mount Minn Kota trolling motor to push a 12 foot john boat. It's a 12-volt, 34 lb thrust model. They suggest installing a 60 amp circuit breaker on the red wire. Is this really necessary? Thanks
