    Converting a '72 Rude to electric start.... questions..

    As the thread states, I have the correct bracket located, and I have a starter laying around, it is a Prestolite MDO4102M 12 volt... I have looked online and I see vague references to it may work. It has 11 teeth as it is supposed to. Will this starter work in this application? Thanks Richard

    ID tag unreadable... How else to find year of motor

    Got a 35 hp Force ID tag on clamp bracket is printed not stamped, and it is unreadable.... Is there anyway to tell year? We carb having carb issues, Need more info carb the carb than anything. I have the numbers carb of the carb, if that helps Thanks Richard
