    99 Johnson loss of RPMs

    I have a 1999 Johnson 130. It will max out at 4500 RPMs, sometimes it will go to 4700. On occasion, a few times per outing, it will serge up to 5500+ RPMs (according to specs it should run at a max of 5500 RPMs), it may hold there for a few minutes then drop down to steady 4500-4700 again...
