    Water Pump Working?

    Is the stream of water that shoots out the back of the engine the outlet for the waterpump? Is this an indicator that the waterpump is working properly? My Evinrude shoots 2 to 3 feet at idle and far enough to make most guys envious while reving. Is this a good sign?

    Force CDI compatability question

    I have a 1986 Force 85 with a bad CDI. Does anyone know if a CDI from a newer year Force motor will work? I just bought 2 off ebay from a Force 90. Any thoughts would be helpfull, thanks.
